Oy!

Hello Pater, Mart, Sander and the rest of our dutch friends!

Very nice to meet you guys in Stryn! You sure like taking pictures of your VW's :)

I also loved the look on the faces of the guys who took my pearl white '66 sunroof beetle with the performance engine for a spin in the evening from Strynsvatn camping :D

I hope the rest of your trip went well!

Can you please post links here to the websites and/or blogs where you guys had been posting your photos from the trip?

Thanks!

Best regards,
Svein

Hai members of the VWACB

The journey has ended, what a pitty, everyone is home safely, without any big problems
It was a very special trip for us through your beautiful country
Everyone enjoys especially the last part ( we saved the best for last) of the trip, the beautiful mountains en fjords.
We will thank you for your visit en company in Stryn at the BBQ and the campsite
We had a wonderful time together and it gave us a special feeling to have friends in Norway
Hopefully we will see you in the future, maybe in our little Holland

As soon as we know, we send you the links of the sites where you can see the pictures of the meeting in Stryn and offcourse pictures of our trip.

I found my lost son in Stryn, he looks just like my son Sander, that was real fun.
Maybe we see eachother another time again
He was also a low-rider, just like Sander in the green Grasshopper (beetle)

Thanks again for your warm company

Greetings Mart en Ineke

Hello Mart & Ineke
Nice to hear that you are back in Holland, all - safe and sound... Did the guys who stopped in Trondheim also reach the ferry in Oslo? I really hope so. They had a troubled trip to Norway...

I'm glad to hear that you saved the best part to the end, yes I know we have been lucky with the creation of the scenery. But it was done some time ago, so we in VWACB didn’t take part in that... :P

I’d like to thank you too for the warm welcome, the very good spirit and the good company at the BBQ and later at the Camping! It is a very good memory to reload later this year, when the temperature is around or under 0 – and it is dark outside! 8)

As you see, some of our pictures have ended up in this thread – and we’re looking forward to see some of yours and your friends pictures posted here or in some other web-page...

Say hello to your son and daughter-in-law from me too...! :thup

Thanks again, and I hope to meet you again some time!

Gretings
Jonn-Stian

Thanks for "having" us in Stryn!

Through a couple in a red 1303 Karmann cab I was tipped about a dutch supplier of "windbreakers" to put behind the front seats in my Karmann cab. Company name was Cabriostyle, and they had their shop in Apeldoorn. I am trying to find this shop on the net, but I couldn`t. Can any of You tip me of the URL or telephone number for this shop?
