"You will NOT have to remove a bus bumper or the running boards from a beetle to remove the lower door hinge pin.
This tool will not remove a bus mirror arm but it will remove the mirror arm that is usually used with an elephant ear mirror. I had been asked by a couple people to make a "bus only" tool that would remove the mirror arm and cab door hinges. I made a prototype for this but it wasn't successful at all. The problem is that there is not enough surface area for the head of the tool to seat against the top of the hinge. The base of the mirror arm is nearly as wide as the hinge itself. So I have stuck with what the tool does best and that is both beetle and bus cab door hinge pins. I also have been told that the original VW hinge tools will not remove the mirror arms either.
I have tested this tool out on quite a few beetle and bus hinges and it has worked great. The tool body is made of solid steel with a hardened pivot pin. The threaded bolt is also made of hardened tool steel with a polished end for extended tool life. The tool comes with a complete set of hardened pusher pins. "

Nå har jeg ikke prøvd det ennå, men jeg innbiller meg jo at det skal gå fint hvis jeg sliper eller kutter vekk den lille flensen nederst på den gamle speilarmen (som jeg skal ha vekk), da skal det vel bare være å feste verktøyet og trykke "splinten" oppover?
Skal gjøre et forsøk på abc i morra onsdag, hvis ikke Vikør (mot formodning) skulle ha henta Bløygen til Norheimsund.

har enda et par baklys (snowflakes) - men de er i dårlig stand og er mer som reserver å anse i tilfelle uhell
